Recreational teams from birth year 2019 to 2010 are formed based on birth year and gender. We do not take requests to be on a certain team or to be with a certain coach or player. All teams are coached by parent volunteers. Coaches will be allowed to schedule practices on a day that works best for them and the majority of the team. No experience is necessary to volunteer to coach. We offer training from Elite FC professional coaching staff. Practices can be held Mon-Fri starting 4:30 pm or after. ’17-’19 teams will have a 30 min practice once a week and ’16 teams will have a 45 minute practice. ’12-’15 teams will practice 1 hour once a week. ’10-’11 teams will practice for 1 hour once a week with an optional second practice. ’10-’11 teams will travel to Delaware for 2-3 games per season. All other games and practices are held at UCJRD which is located on County Home Road. Games are played on Saturday mornings to early afternoon. Some ’10-’11 games will be on Saturday afternoon. Children are required to wear shin guards (under their socks) and tennis shoes or soccer cleats for practices and games. Players will be provided with matching shirts for game days. Shorts and socks can be any color. No jewelry is permitted during practices or games.
