· My coaching philosophy – I have played since I was 5 years old and have had the opportunity to play at various levels including club, ODP, high school, college and adult leagues.  I have truly come to love the game known around the world as the beautiful game.  I enjoy watching players develop new skills and come to understand the game better.  My goal is to see the players enjoy themselves while building their technical skills and their decision-making capabilities to be used in dynamic game situations.

Philosophy for coaching the younger age groups
it is important to do these three things:

Reasons I coach:
1). I love the game of soccer -- playing, watching, and coaching!
2). I enjoy training young people and helping them develop a love for the game.
3). I believe playing a team sport instills important life lessons in our kids. It is fun being a part of that process!

Reason I coach:

I have played soccer all my life and currently still play year-round.  I love the game; whether it’s watching, playing, studying, practicing or training. I enjoy developing young athletes and seeing them accomplish a new skill or move and pushing them to be the best they can be on and off the field. Growing their character as young athletes through soccer is very rewarding and one I take seriously.  I love to hear, “Coach, what can I do better or how can I improve?”  This is what drives me to continue developing these young athletes to hopefully someday play collegiately, professionally or for fun as an adult.

Coaching Philosophy
1.      Develop team players while improving individual skills.
2.      Be disciplined and respectful.
3.      Have fun and love the game.

Slogan:“Do your job!”

I tell my players that if they are doing their job (playing their position with discipline) and their teammates are as well, then soccer becomes easy. We may not win every game when everyone does their job but we will at least put up a fight and make it harder for the other team to win!
